I would like to take the time to tell you a little about me and how I got into photography. I am a mother of 5 amazing kiddos, so I know how fleeting moments can be! When my second daughter was born, I decided to take a photography class at a local community college and I became obsessed. I was obsessed with taking better photos of my kids, obsessed with editing, obsessed with every aspect. I would stay up until 3:00am trying to learn photoshop. I went to school for elementary education and I enjoy learning just as much as teaching. I starting getting into photography around the time that newborn photography was starting to become a trend and I fell in love. I knew that if I could make beautiful photos of babies, it would be a dream job. So, I started researching and learning. I took a newborn posing and safety workshop. I talked to pediatricians about safety, read books and articles. I learned as much as I possibly could about newborn photography. I practiced with friend’s babies and models. I finally felt confident enough to start my own business and now I have photographed hundreds of babies. I began to combine my two passions in 2014. I mentored some local photographers and in 2015 I started teaching workshops with my good friend from Aly Marie Photography. We travel around the country teaching newborn posing and safety to newborn photographers. I am so blessed to have a job that I love and cherish!! I take pride in my work and always give 110%. My clients are very special to me! I recently moved back to Gainesville, Florida after living in Kansas City, MO for 10 years and I miss my KC clients dearly. I love building relationships and making lifelong friends not just clients!
